And also get bitten by them?

wow...so itchy....

What actually inside the insecticide to kill the mosquitos???
It’s Pyrethrin,
Haha…
I like this ingredient very much….^^

Pyrethrin (Pyrethrum)

The pyrethrins are a pair of natural organic compound that have potent insecticidal activity. Pyrethrin is structurally related esters with a cyclopropane core. They differ by the oxidation state of one carbon. They are viscous liquids that oxidize to become inactivated. They are non-persistent, being biodegradeble, and break down on exposure to light or oxygen. The chemical structure of pyrethrins is the basis for a variety of synthetic insecticides called pyrethroids.

The pyrethrins are contained in the seed of the
perennial plant pyrethrum (Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium), which is grown commercially to supply the insecticide. Pyrethrins are neurotoxins that attack the nervous systems of all insects. When present in amounts not fatal to insects, they still appear to have an insect repellents effect.

so pretty ya??=)

Toxicity

Pyrethrins are used in many varieties of insecticide, fogging products and in some pet products. Care should be taken when using this substance around humans and animals. Toxicity symptoms in humans include asthmatic breathing, sneezing, nasal stuffiness, headache, facial flushing and swelling, and burning and itching sensation.

To being environment friendly, pyrethrin also has the following unique properties:
1)
Quick Action – Pyrethrum poisons insects upon contact, attacking the central nervous system and resulting in faster knockdown and kill.

2)Low Toxicity – Pyrethrum is one of the least toxic insecticides available, boasting a long history of proven safety towards humans and animals.

3)Repellent – When not present in fatal amounts, pyrethrum acts as a repellent to protect food establishments, grain storage, and crops from insect pests.

4)Flushing Agent– Pyrethrum agitates insects in their hiding places, flushing them out and forcing them to be exposed to the insecticide.

5)Multi-purpose – Pyrethrum consists of a group of compounds rather than a single compound, resulting in a wider scope of activity against pests than other insecticides. It can be used against almost any pest in the house or garden.

6)No Insect Immunity – Insect resistance is not a problem because of the complexity of the molecule that pyrethrum is composed of.

You like COCA-COLA??

Do u smile like this when you drink coke???

YOU LIKE COKE?

Erm….
I think most of the people will answer YES undoubtedly for my question above, specially for children…
Coca-cola is sweet and have a attractive aroma which are attracting our olfaction and our taste bud, and it is also a very good accompaniments to hamburgers and French fries.
Coca-cola (or we normally call it Coke), the most well-known soft drink, and we can call it the King of the soft drink due to it sales amount, India's 1.1 billion consumers or Mexico's 108 million drinkers annually. Is it a great amount??? Then how about you? How much you consume coke per year?

…. BUT!!!
do u heard before about the rumours of coca-cola ??
I can give some examples of the rumours here which I pick from coke website.

1) Phosphoric acid in coca-cola cause osteoporosis.
2) Coca-cola contains a lot of caffeine.
3) Is aspartame safe for diabetes?
Let's us discover it's ingredients....

Caffein and Theobromine

Coca-cola is originally extracts from the cola leaf and cola nut, mixed with sugar water. But now, only cola nut is remain in the recipe of cokes which are publish to the people.
The main active ingredients in the cola nut are alkaloids caffein and theobromine.

Caffeine is a drug that is naturally produced in the leaves and seeds of many plants. It is defined as a drug because it stimulates the central nervous system, causing increased alertness. Caffeine gives people temporary energy boost and elevates mood. Caffeine may also cause the body to lose calcium, and that can lead to bone loss over time. So, drinking caffeine contain drinks have a greater risk of developing osteoporosis.

Theobromine has a similar effect with caffeine, but about 10 times weaker. Theobromine has diuretic, stimulant and relaxing effects. Although theobromine does not cause harmful effects with humans, it is highly toxic to some domestic animals, including dogs and horses. With the animals, theobromine can lead to cardiac arrhythmias and seizures.

Theobromine

Sweeteners-Aspartame

The artificial sweetener asparttame is the low-calorie sweetener chosen in coke recipe.
Aspartame is a dangerous chemical food additive.
Side effects of aspartame include: decreased night vision, dizziness, unsteadiness, insomnia, Gastrointestinal, gradual weight gain, etc.

Aspartame

Flavors-Phosphoric acid

Acids are added to soft drinks for extra bite, and mouth feel. The primary acid used in colas is phosphoric acid. It serves as an acidic, fruitlike flavouring in food products. The amount of phosphoric acid is 55%, giving cola drinks an acidity of pH 2.6, or about the same as vinegar. The sugar added cause colas don’t really taste like vinegar. But why it needs so much phosphoric acid? It is use to keep the water sterile, as no bacteria can live in such acid solutions. The solution of phosphoric acid in cola drinks is so strong as to cause human teeth to become soft within 2 days. In fact, it is strong enough to dissolve nails and limestone, it can also cause gastric ulcer.
